After a year and a half of skin hunger, VisitGent and Duke & Grace proclaim the East Flemish capital the love city of Belgium. With the intention to bring (inter)national lovers back together after countless lockdowns, full-service agency Duke & Grace created Lovedown, a post-COVID campaign with a eponymous dating tool as its centrepiece.
Lovedown invites couples to complete a miniquiz to put together their perfect date in Ghent. Based on the individual answers and preferences of both partners, Lovedown proposes a personalized programme. Duke & Grace worked out the creative concept, provided all UX, UI and copy for the tool, and created the promotional video.
"With this campaign, we noticeably touched the right chord, which was not obvious since we had to be able to shift gears quickly due to the ever-changing measures against the coronavirus and restrictions on foreign and internal tourism", says Pieter De Baets, Senior Creative Strategist at Duke & Grace. "But that didn't stop us: when we finally got the green light in August, the rollout of the tool was already on standby."
