What you working day may look like

As an experienced Business Developer, you aren’t just ‘another salesperson’: you have a key role in Duke & Grace’ growth, as you’re responsible for our client portfolio. You proactively seek after new clients or follow up on incoming (website) leads by convincing them that Duke & Grace is their go-to partner for digital transformation. You’re not afraid to enter into discussions with them in order to take their marketing plan to the next level. That’s how you sell an integrated, long-term approach, acquiring new assignments and business.

In other words, you don’t sit around doing anything. No, you’re constantly on the move, looking for, bringing together, and planting a seed in the mind of new clients. You’ll co-create pitch presentations with a team of experts to ensure that quality and vision transcend through everything we do. Once you closed the deal, you’ll hand over the project to a Client Service Manager. 

To report what you’ve been up to, you keep our CRM tool (Hubspot) constantly up-to-date by documenting your accounts, contacts, and activities and you take part in weekly sales meetings.

And don't forget you will be backed up by a sales team.

Your skillset

  • This is not your first rodeo. You have about ten years of sales experience on the clock. With great skill, you identify the client’s digital needs and strategic pillars and translate them into accurate digital advice. 
  • Building new partnerships has become second nature to you. Do you have a broad network of marketing decision-makers? Bonus points! 
  • Together with the sales team, you’re eager to achieve your targets. You’re always on the lookout for new growth opportunities and proactively initiate conversations with potential clients. 
  • Pursuing and closing new deals gives you energy. You’re just the right person to convince potential clients of the added value of a long-lasting partnership with Duke & Grace. 
  • You have strong business insights. Your knowledge as well as your appearance assures confidence and comfort for potential clients. 
  • You live in 2021. You are familiar with the digital landscape and/or eager to keep on learning. 
  • You’ve got an entrepreneurial mindset and can’t wait to be a Duke & Grace ambassador, representing our values to new clients and partners.
  • You get an infinite amount of bonus points if you form a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of the marketing decision-maker.
