Drupal Developer (payroll or freelance)

At Duke & Grace, we seamlessly combine strategy, creativity and technology. To add to that mix, we’re currently looking for 2 Drupal Developers to strengthen our development team. Is Drupal the Romeo to your Juliet? Do you feel the adrenaline rush when your website goes live? Well, then you might be a compatible match!

How your working day may look like

As a Drupal Developer, you'll work on versatile Drupal projects. You'll mainly focus on tailor-made solutions that can range from websites over webshops to platforms. Really, it’s like a box of chocolates.

As we aim to deliver fully integrated work, you'll also be involved in the bigger picture. Depending on the project, you'll be part of a dedicated project team, where you will work on high-quality output with various expert profiles, resulting in happy clients. Most of the time, you'll work together with your back-end colleagues to create Drupal content management systems, tailored to the needs and processes of the client's business.

You will belong to Build Studio, the home of our talented Developers. So, you will be backed up by a team of developers at all times.

Your skillset

  • This is not your first rodeo. You already have a few years of experience in Drupal Site Building as well as overall front-end development on the clock.
  • Drupal 8 and 9 hold no secrets for you.
  • You know how Drupal theming, custom theming and preprocessing work. You basically eat twig templates for breakfast.
  • You have a good understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Furthermore, you're familiar with automation tools, like Gulp.
  • Turning a creative design into responsive code is a walk in the park for you.
  • If you're familiar with React and have experience with Drupal back-end, you score points.
  • You have a solution-oriented mind that spots challenges even before they surface.
  • Last but not least: You show true interest in technology and have a drive for staying on top of novelties within your domain. You are active in the Drupal community or willing to become an active part of it.

Apart from your skillset, we are also looking for a real cultural fit. Duke & Grace is human-centered, team-oriented and growth-driven. It's simply in our DNA! Each of us has a vibrant personality - each in our own way. We love to learn from each other and are very communicative.

On our Careers page, you can find out more about our company culture and application procedure - just to be transparent.

“As a Drupal Developer, we are a vital link in creating an awesome user experience on the client's website, as we are the ones who call it into being. Our end goal? To let the client manage their own website(s) in an intuitive way.”
