Do you like to build the foundations of a solid sales strategy? Do you enjoy collaborating with and leading a team of passionate and strong sales professionals? Do you thrive well in a creative, fast-paced environment? If you nodded three times, then you might be the Customer Success Director we're looking for!

What you're working day may look like

As Customer Success Director, you will lead a great team of commercial talents who work closely together with the (online) marketing, creative, development, and planning team.

You will be responsible for determining the customer service and sales strategy of Duke & Grace, always in line with the strategic company goals. How?

  • You develop the yearly commercial plan, goals, and budget, targeting aligned investment decisions together with the company management.
  • You manage the budget by organizing the sales activities in accordance with the agreed results in the financial plan.
  • Together with your team, you set up a solid sales organization with performing and agile processes in new sales, account management, strategic consulting, lead generation, brand management, external communication, service development, and management.

In other words, your job is to balance cost efficiency, agility, and quality. You’ll report all of that to our Managing Director and regularly take part in discussions with the executive team who represent the other core domains.

Next to these hard-core job responsibilities, you operate as a coach to your sales management, fostering a team culture where motivation, collaboration, and excellence go hand in hand, and help our Talent Officer to put the right talent to the right spot. You’re always on top of the latest market trends, which you share internally to inspire your team and externally to convince (potential) customers. And, last but not least, you maintain a strong network of strategic contacts, key accounts, business partners, prospects to build a long-term relation and realize the sales targets.

Your skillset

  • This is not your first rodeo. You have a master’s degree and at least 5 to 7 years of work experience at company management level. That’s how you obtained a strong strategic view and business acumen skills.
  • Business development and value creation thinking have become second nature to you. You know how to balance innovation and optimization within existing processes.
  • Having experience with digital marketing expertise, like UX and UI, web development and design, performance marketing, creative production, and digital transformation, is considered a plus.
  • People know you as someone with a strong drive and ambition to show results.
  • You have a strong sense of customer focus and an entrepreneurial mindset to build partnerships (both externally and internally).
  • You are the one who inspires, motivates, and enables growth. In other words, you get the best out of a sales team by being a true people person and coach.

Apart from your skillset, we are also looking for a real cultural fit. Duke & Grace is human-centered, team-oriented, and growth-driven. It's simply in our DNA! Each of us has a vibrant personality - each in our own way. We love to learn from each other and are very communicative.
